“Goods handmade in America have always been the cause closest to my heart.  Working for myself and making a quality product that’s both beautiful and functional has always been a dream of mine.  After I finished art school, and began my job as a costumer supervisor in UNCW’s theater department, I met Courtney!! Who had just ended her tenure training lions for the circus.  We found we had these dreams in common, camped out at my parents house in Kannapolis, began our Kickstarter, reached our goal, and RubyAssata was born and halfway-blossomed!!  We want to continue to work for ourselves, to make and sell beautiful products, and to own that American Dream, as elusive and as magical as the unicorn, but more within our reach!”

Forget the big box, corporate run leather stores.  The only thing you need to know is RubyAssata.  Courtney and Alisha are the hands, hearts, and minds behind these great leather accessories!  From luggage tags to mini wallets, to clutches and hobos, there is nothing that you could want that they can’t make.  And each creation is lined with fun, funky, vibrant, and absolutely perfectly coordinated interior fabrics and patterns.  Oh, yea, and did you get that these are HANDMADE?!
