Thanks to our wonderful community of customers, we were able to raise tons of donations for the Domestic Violence Center of Wilmington.  We really appreciate all of your support!  We also want to thank everyone at Dog Gone Crazy (who took a ton of stuff to the Pender County Animal Shelter!), Finkelstein’s, City Buddha and Slice of Life for their hard work to make this happen.  Thank you to Caffe Phoenix and the Wilmingtonian for their generous donations as well!  We are so happy to be part of such a giving, supportive community!

So I know you’ve all been just dying to see the results of our first official Edge of Urge Makeover Lotto!  Well, we have the before, we have the after, and we even have all of the nitty-gritty from the in between. The lovely lady pictured is our lucky winner Carla, and as you can see, she is beautiful already!

But who doesn’t need or want a day of spoiling and relaxation? It all started with a wonderful cut and color by the always entertaining Courtney from Fluid Salon. Carla did not want much of a change to her color, so we added some high-lights and low-lights, and threw in some layers to bring out the texture.

Then we took her to Edge of Urge boutique to get a brand spankin’ new head-to-toe outfit!

To finish the entire makeover, Carla was treated to some fresh makeup from Amy Kennison, of M.A.C. Cosmetics. As well as some handy makeup tips and tricks, Carla got to keep all of the makeup used for the makeover!

And violá! The vibrant blue of this Vicky dress by Hype is the perfect color and tone for Carla’s beautiful skin and hair color. Paired with some sexy tights and Pink studio ankle booties, as well as a new haircut and fabulous makeup, she’s gone from Carla to Super Carla in only one day!

All the proceeds went to the Cape Fear chapter of the American Red Cross Disaster Relief! Thanks to everyone who entered, and special thanks to Courtney Moody from Fluid Salon and Amy Kennison of M.A.C. Cosmetics.

If you are now wishing you had entered this Makeover Lotto, fear not! You can enter our next Makeover Lotto now! Click here to see how. The winner will be picked on February 5th, so hurry up and enter for your chance to get a whole new look just like Carla did!
