This month EOU is happy to welcome Terry Rivenbark as our guest photographer! This motivated, young artist is full of energy, passion and an arsenal of catch phrases . The word “jazzercise” has never been used more in a photo-shoot or ever! It’s funny how such an odd, simple request can throw the models into a full-on dance party!

Terry looks to the accomplishments of such noted fashion photographers as Patrick Demarchelier and Steven Meisel, “Every time I see one of their images, I just stare at it in awe.” These remarkable artists have blazed a trail that few others have in the fashion photography industry. With larger than life examples such as these, the young Rivenbark is driven to make his own distinctive mark on the fashion industry.

EOU has started a new thang for the store website to give photographers the chance to show their work online while lending us their perspective in a series of photos for our site! Cool deal right? We thought so too. If you’re interested in being a guest photog, email info@edgeofurge.com telling us why and send us a few samples of your work. Below are a few photos from our first installment of Photographer of the Month.

Our first ever guest photographer is Kate Burnley from Manhattan, NY. This is what Kate had to say about her work –  ”Photography is a medium that appeals to the scientist in me; the person who wants to mix chemicals and watch things transform. I collect specimens and examine them several times until I am most satisfied with the result. Variables change but the one constant in my work is creating a self-portrait even if that means not using my own image.”
