Dudes: We obviously are lovin’ William Rast denim’s, pictured here in dark grey, and so are plenty of your favorite celebrities such as a frequent shopper of ours, Sophia Bush.  Put with a white and black Blood is the new Black tee garnished with a Lifetime Collective electric blue hoodie is sure to spice up any guy’s wardrobe.  Strap on some Zuriick ankle cut sneaks, and for the cherry on top, add a Goorin fedora detailed with a small feather.

Tip:  If you’re trying to turn your everyday ordinary outfit around, wearing a simple fedora can take your outfit to the next level.

Gals:  Yeah, it might be the gloomy season where you are, but this outfit will be sure to brighten up your days.  The bold take on your everyday cardigan by Industry layered over this Mary Meyer tee shows you can keep warm and still allow your true colors to show.  We paired this with Paper Denim bright blue jeans with a priceless pair of 80%20 mary janes in smoke.  To complete this colorful ensemb, adding in an eggplant Vyntage clutch from Latico pulled it all together.

Tip:  Just because everyone else is wearing blacks and greys doesn’t mean you can’t stray from the rest.  Accenting your wardrobe with splashes of bold colors is the perfect way to look hot in the quickly coming cold months.

So we know you’ve been waiting anxiously for us to reveal our picks of the week…  Michal and I searched high and low through the store to pull together a few must haves for guys and gals. And yes, we played dress up just for you… Drum roll pleasssssse.

Guys: We picked a nice clean bootcut William Rast denim to go with an orange Alternative Apparel V-neck. The denim is perfect for this pair of brand new Frye boots. We finished the outfit off with a slim fit brown Penguin jacket.

Tip - A nice pair of boots are great for any guy’s wardrobe and a good pair will last you for years. Look for a nice basic style that can go with a lot of different outfits. Just like the ones featured here.

Gals: This finely detailed orange Touch Luxe dress has a wow factor all its’ own. So we paired it with a pair of black Pink Studio shoes. We accented the dress with a gold snake bracelet.

Tip - Feeling a little frisky? Choose a funky piece of jewelry to spice up an otherwise simple outfit. Try a piece that is strikingly different or has a bright color that will pop. The snake bracelet featured above is something cool and unusual that will make you stand out from the crowd.

So you’re probably thinking… what’s with the masks?? Well fortunately for you, edge of urge is selling these kick-ass masks online and in store just for you! Halloween is right around the corner so be bold and check ‘em out!

We’re getting in some bangin’ new jeans from this rad new company called Verses Jeans. They were profiled on North Carolina’s Public Radio in a story about the state’s garment industry.

Click here to give the interview a listen.

“Sarah Yarborough and Victor Lytvinenko started Verses Jeans in their Raleigh apartment last year. They’ve since moved into a warehouse near downtown and are shipping jeans to several stores across the county, and even one in the Philippines. The denim, zippers and almost everything else that goes into a pair of pants comes from North Carolina. They join Frank Stasio to talk about their business and their lofty goals to revive North Carolina’s garment industry.”
