Say Cheese! I worked with superior Cheesemonger Lauren Cunningham on this one. Each cheese is broken down by type, flavor quality and ideal alcohol pairings. We even threw in some fun/historical facts for impressing people at your cocktail party.
ABOUT THE IDEA Information is more fun to read when it's beautiful. I've designed these charts and maps with hours of research, reassembling data into a brain-friendly aesthetic. I edit the information significantly, avoiding the "dazzle" effect which occurs when our eyes are battered with too much information. Letterpress makes it even more gorgeous.
ABOUT LETTERPRESS PRINTING Letterpress is a very complicated and expensive printing method that I am obsessed with. All letterpress prints are slammed with 600 pounds of pressure, creating a deep, tactile texture. The ink gets embedded into the thick soft paper so it won't fade within your lifetime. It takes hundreds of thousands of flowers worth of nectar to make a jar of honey. It's sort of baffling that most flowers have the exact same anatomy, outlined here in a super-sharp letterpress print.

"I was in Montreal & faced with a cooler of beers I'd never heard of. I picked a really random assortment, & when I started drinking them, I realized why beer snobs are a thing. A map of the middlest of Dante's divine comedies. This mountain finishes the Trifecta of Heaven and Hell, giving us a path from the Inferno to Paradiso.
