The Boardrider Trunk is based on an early board short style from the 1960s. The colorway is inspired by a pair of trunks that Miki Dora wore in The Endless Summer.

The trunk design is very true to its origins and borrows some good ideas from the last 60 years. Like the originals, the trunk is made of mostly cotton but is also blended with some nylon and elastic to make for quicker drying and better stretch. The button pocket closure and white contrasting trim are iconic details of the 60s trunks. 

The Boardrider Trunk is a homage to a time when boardshorts were shorter, classier, and so much more groovy. These are your grandpa's trunks!

The Hammies trunks are designed to fit like our shorts and our shorts sizing is based on US pants sizing (size 32 means 32-inch waist), so if you wear a size 32 in jeans, then you're a size 32 in Hammies. If you don't know your waist size, measure the waist of your favorite jeans in inches and multiply that by 2 (16" across x 2 = 32").
